CUPERTINO, Calif., November 4, 2008 -- Trend Micro, Inc. (TSE: 4704), a global leader in Internet content security, today announced that Cody Leser has been appointed senior director of North America channel sales, effective immediately. Leser will be responsible for sustaining, advancing and executing the channel sales strategy for Trend Micro, including managing successful partnerships and achieving aggressive growth goals.

Leser has more than 15+ years of total experience leading high-volume sales and operations, most recently at McAfee, Inc where as director of North America distribution channels he oversaw sales, distribution and the channel for the United States and Canada. Prior to that, Leser ran his own business consulting and entrepreneurial company. Leser also was vice president of U.S. sales and operations at Novell Corporation, where he was responsible for all enterprise, mid and small business channel sales, government and healthcare.
Leser will report directly to Darren Blank, vice president of North America sales and marketing.
